allergy to meds

Can a person be allergic to everything? I am ready to go crazy with the reactions that I am getting.

I tried the estrasorb and it put me in the most wonderful mood that I have had sincee the hyster, I mean wonderful.. I wanted to get my hair done, my nails, do this and do that like before but.. The muslces up my neck became so ridgid that I could not turn my head from side to side and the headache was unbearable every other hour or so not to mention that I had the worst itching (EVERYWHERE) vaginal, my bottom, my leggs.

I get the itching with cenestin, premarin, estratest and compounds. As well as the severe headaches.

I just cant accept the fact that I could be allergic to every type made out there.

IMHO my first stop would be at the allergist to try and find out exactly what you are allergic to and go from there.......I was being told over and over again I couldn't be allergic to estrogen that it was the same thing my body produced prehyst and it turned out I was allergic to soy and sulphites.....alot of the bio-identicals are derived from soy so that was what my problem was with med's and all the problem I was having with food could be pretty much directed to the sulphite allergy as it's a preservative in almost everything! Not to say this is your problem but at least if you knew what you were allergic to you could go from there!

....hang in there and keep us posted

I was so relieved to see your post! I thought I was nuts. Premarin cream is making me itch all over, too. I didn't itch on the Vagifem, which is plant-based, so this might work for you. I went to a compounding pharmacist and am having testing done and will probably go on compounded hormones after this. I'm tired of guessing at my dosage.
