Funny Feeling

Ok, I'll be 5 weeks post op Friday and worked yesterday for 6.5 hours (desk job) left at work at 1:30 to lay down and rest for the rest of the day, was sore and stuff but didn't push it.

Today I'm working again, but feel real lousy, I'm getting sharp pains on my right side where the ovary use to be,

but I have this fall out feeling down below like I have an old tampon or something that I should take out (sorry to be so gross) Does anyone else get this? Is it from sitting too long? I'm trying to make it here at work for at least another 2-3 hours and am not sure if I should. My goal was to work 4 days this week like 6.5 hours each, now I'm second guessing, should I finish today and rest tommorrow and go Friday again or suffer today and tomorrow and take friday off and have three days of rest before I start again Monday. Oh too my decisions to make,

Mentally I am so ready to get back to normal, physically I'm just not there yet.

What is this falling out feeling?

Thanks ladies!!

maybe its swelling?? I would definately take the rest of the week off. you don't want to over do it. Call your doctor too, maybe he/she will want to see you to check and make sure nothing is falling out!

Oooooh...call your Dr!
Better safe than worried.

I wear a light control panty and it helps that "falling out" feeling.

Get better!

I'm not sure what it is, but I had/have it too. I think it is the swelling and the healing etc. Do go easy with this work business tho'... and rest whenever you can please. The healing process is long.

Rest as much as you can! Work will be there whenever you feel well enough to go back! I had a TVH BSO and also have that funny feeling. I started back to work this week 3 weeks post op and lasted for 2 days. I was very tired, very achy and had some heavy spotting. My doctor said go back to bed! Rest seems to be the key!
Take care of yourself & rest...... until you are ready to go back to work!

I have been experiencing the same funny feeling. Sometimes it's really bad, and other times it seems to be ok. I am 9weeks post op, and just started having some spotting too. I find when I do a lot that funny feeling gets worse... I will go to the doctor tomorrow. Maybe I'll have some answers to share with you then

I have had that feeling several times.

I think it is swelling.

I was so nervous I even asked my DH to check down there. I mean who better to know if something seems different. Right? Ha ha Anyway he said some of the layers/lips at the opening were swelled up and folded over. Yep, that was the feeling. I was just greatful that nothing was falling out.

When in doubt call your doctors office. I always call and ask for the nurse. They are usually very helpful.

Good Luck,

I'm so thrilled to hear I'm not alone.. I thought I might be imagining it. I have that same --swollen..somethin's stuck in there-or falling out-- feeling.
I'm coming up on 5 weeks and am so ready to be normal again. Are we there yet?????

I was glad to read all these responses, as it sounds like what I've been having. I do think mine is worse when I've sat a lot. Mine feels like it's almost on the outside, but a puffy, pressure-like feeling, almost throbbing. Nothing looks any different that I can tell (?). Who would ever think we'd be discussing things like this on an internet forum???
