Cold Feet

Has anyone else had constant cold feet since their hysterectomy? I had a TAH-BSO on 6/29 and my feet are freezing all the time. Just checking to see if my body is acting weird, if it's hormones or what. Haven't had any hot flashes yet and hope they don't start. Mood swings are very minimal and don't last long so I am happy for that also.

Cold Feet

my feet are cold but I think its because I really am quite inactive at the moment--I lay on my bed with a small cover over my legs with the AC turned on!
go figure--I am doing some leg exercises as I lay around--I draw out the letters of the alphabet with my toes. I would say tho--if your flesh is actually cold to the touch I'd think seriously about calling the doctor.
we share the same date MrsT--hope all is well with you

Cold Feet

Thanks for your reply - Nice to talk to someone that is at the same stage of the game as I am. I am a "cold" person normally and am one of those that needs a sweater when I'm in air conditioning for any length of time. My feet have always had the "cold" problem but it seems since the surgery, the rest of my body is kinda normal but my feet are even colder than they usually were. I go the the Dr. on the 26th so I'll ask him then. I'm sure you're right - inactivity is probably at least some of the problem. I'm trying to walk around several times a day to get some strength back. Feel free to email me so we can keep in touch to see where we are in our recovery. Hope all is well with you and you are getting better every day. Hugs and prayers!

Cold Feet

I didn't have cold feet after my hysterectomy, but I did after the cone biopsy I had 2 weeks before that. In fact, I was cold all over after that one! I attributed it to the general anesthesia. I actually had heavier anesthesia for that procedure than I did for the hysterectomy. The cold feet did go away after a few days, though.
