Sharp Stabbing Pain!

Hi Ladies,

Ugh!! What a day im having,LOL!! I need some input, i'm 2 1/2 weeks post from a TVH for Adenomyosis.
My bleeding has stopped and I felt great, was able to start walking, easy exercises, driving, and light housework. But the last two days i've been having alot of pain that seems to come and go.
I have a sharp stabbing pain, on my right side just above the hair line. I dont have an appendix, it kinda feels like when I had a cyst on my ovary on that side. When it hits me I cant even walk it just makes me want to drop to the floor, after a little while it eases up. I also have alot of pressure in my vagina, like everything is gonna drop out of me,ugh!!
What can this be?? Stitches?? I passed two little ones yesterday, I dont go back to dr. til June for my 6 week check up and cant get him till monday to ask.

Thanks ladies, in advance, for any help you can give me!!!

((hugs))
Shanon

Sharp Stabbing Pain!

Shanon,
It could be stitches, or it could be pain from when things are passing through your bowels in that area. I would try to call your doctor, there should be someone on call. My doctor responded to my calls even if he was not the person on call. If your doctor has an answering service, tell them you are only 2.5 weeks into your recovery from a hysterectomy. This usually will get a quick response. Good luck!

I agree with Robin, Shanon. Sounds like something your dr. might want to know about. Even if it turns out to be nothing, calling the doctor will give you peace of mind. Best wishes,
