Rice?????? Ive heard its good for heat but what about freezing it for an Ice pack

I have heard some of you mention puting rice in a sock and making a heating pad but what about using it in the freezer as an ice pack. I am Really swollen today and thinking of making an Ice pack. I mentioned it to my DH and he thinks im nuts.

A bag of frozen veggies works the best....peas are great!

Rice works great, too. You can put some in a clean tube sock and freeze that sucker! I used that when I had my wisdom teeth out.
