Sammie here with a couple of questions

Hi all,

My first question has to do with IBS after 7 going on 8 months post-op my IBS is just awful but with the zelnorm I am pooping what scares me is this I hurt on my lower sides it's the same pain I had before my hysto when my IBS wasn't acting up like this, can IBS cause a painlike ache (hard to explain) but it went away for a bit after hysto then returned at first GYN said maybe adhesions but now they are saying bowel, if I am pooping granted it's at midnight but I will take what I can get at this point (my IBS is in the form of constipation and has been that way since hysto) Except when I take the zelnorm which I do every night, so I am confused as to what is hurting me down there??? Also the GI doc said I can take zelnorm the rest of my life and not to worry about the literature that states you are not supposed to take it long term any thoughts on this???

Second I have another vaginal infection and in an earlier post I said I thought it was vaginal dryness irritation and maybe not an infection so I tried the estrogen cream WOW made it much worse is that normal for the estrogen cream to make an infection worse if that is what it is and not dryness?? I see the GYN on the 4th of August and am trying to hang in there hoping this will pass just wondering if anyone knew about that estrogen cream....

Thanks so much

Thank you

Hi,

I see my Regular doctor today hopefully he can help with the bowel pain, I also am going to have to have him check my back since the hysto it is killing me pain down to my legs maybe its the way I was positioned during the LAVH for over 3 hours. Just wanted to say thank you for thinking of me, it really helps I have been so down this morning and have been crying a lot but my hormones are not quite right I can tell so maybe that is what it is but I am going to ask for a anti-depp today think I need it, and hopefully when I see the GYN Aug 4th he can get my hormones and this infection that is hanging on cleared up.....Thanks again

Sammie here with a couple of questions

Hi Michelle,

Doc visit was ok he said my back pain is either a disc or a nerve probably agravated from the surgery he has me watching it for now hoping the pain will lessen, and it's important for me to keep my bowels working I told him that when I don't go it hurts my back more, he said that it would, any way if it doesn't improve I am to call him back. He said my bowel problem is going to take a long time to get better and I will feel bloated and crampy but to continue to take the zelnorm he also discussed my depression with me and put me on 100 mg of zoloft which I have taken before and it helped so I hope it does this time. He did the blood work my GYN wanted repeated my triglycerdes (sp)?? and blood sugar we very high at the last blood work GYN did so he will see if I need to go back on the meds that the GYN had me on for the that problem. My regular doc looked at my blood work he did before the hysto and everything was good so it is probably hormonal I just hope the lab is ok I really can't afford any more meds I am on enough as it is. I see the GYN in 2 weeks I will talk to him about this blasted infection that won't go away I really don't think it's bacterial this time but it doesn't seem to be yeast either so who knows. I am settling with the fact that I am going to have to hurt for awhile until my bowel problem settles down I will just have to learn how to live with a blown up belly for a long while. I just hope I don't have to live with these vaginal infections as well they are miserable . I am hoping the zoloft helps and I can start sleeping more I am a little afraid about this blood work I don't need any more problems but if so I guess I have no choice but to deal with it....Thanks for asking that was very sweet of you to think about me.....
