t minus 3 hours 25 minutes and counting

I'm off to the castle in about an hour and a half, and into surgery an hour and a half after that. I woke up with diarrhea due to nerves. I thought it would be silly to do the enema on top of that, but it actually stopped the diarrhea. Go figure. So I bless the doc for ordering it. I feel so much braver when my stomach's not in knots.

A tip I wish I would have done: wish I'd asked the doc for a valium to keep until this morning, back when I had my pre-op. I'm definitely asking for one when I get there.

I just finished putting my hair in french braids, and paying my life insurance bill. So here I go!
