Starting to feel bad!!!!!

I had my TVH on 7/01/04. I came home from the hospital the next day. Buy that next Monday I was feeling great. I started back to work this Monday 7/19/04 (Purchasing Agent) which was only 2 weeks and 4 days. I felt like that I could conquer the world because I felt so much better. Boy was I wrong. I am in my 3rd day back to work and feel terrible. I am so tired (no energy) and now cramping all of the time. I am also still bleeding. Last night I rolled over in the bed and felt something pull in my pelvic area.
Boy did that hurt and still does. All I want to do is go home and curl up in my bed. Has anyone out there had any of these problems after they started feeling better?

Starting to feel bad!!!!!

Regina,

Wow, that is early going to work that soon. Did your DR release you? I would say you are way overdoing it.

Remember you have stitches that are healing inside and can take anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks.

Call your DR about the bleeding especially if it is heavy and bright red.

I will be six wks tomorrow (TAH) and still can't think of going to work just yet.

Take care and i hope you feel better soon.

Starting to feel bad!!!!!

Hey Regina,

Why are you back to work so early?

I went back at the start of my seventh week post op, and my insides still hurt a bit when I walked.

At nine weeks post op I feel alot better, but I still don't overdo it.

Also when I went back to work initially I walked around the office with flat shoes.

You will need at least 6-8 weeks for your initial recovery, so take it slow!

Oh Regina, you shouldn't be back at work yet.

Please please rest and pamper yourself until at least 6 weeks.
