Brain Fog

Help!!! My dr increased my premerin from .625 to .9 last week. Well, this week at work, I felt like I was in a total fog....doing things in slow motion and the brain just not working...Could this possibly be from the increase in HRT??? I have the lower dosage and I'm thinking of going back to that. I can live with a few hot flashes with the lower dosage if I can get my brain back again....UGH...this is a lot harder than I thought it would be!

Brain Fog

Hi

Typically brain fog is due to low estrogen levels. You are still pretty early post-op however, and being back at work may be a bit overwhelming? Perhaps just give yourself a little more time to see how the .9 settles out for you. I still have periods of brain fog....even tho I feel I'm on the "right" (?) dose of estradiol replacement. I would recommend that you give your new dose another week and see how you do.....

Brain fog is terrible. i am on premarin 1.25 and still get brain fog sometimes i was also on estratest h.s. and it helped alot with that, but i had testosterone overload and got painful acne, so had to end that.
