in need of prayers please

i never ask for anyone to pray for me but I have been so depressed and getting worse for the last 4 years. I found out my 24 year old son is on drugs,my husband drinks every evening after work until he is a drunk jerk. I ave lost too much weight from all the stress,I have tried many anti-depressants but they leave me zoned out feeling. I can't take hormones so as you can see I am a mess,I feel like they are trying to put me in my grave. thank you

In need of prayers, please

Yikes,
I am sorry you are feeling so depressed and having such a difficult time sometimes when we need antidepressants it is a struggle to find the proper one. I will pray for you your sons situation and your spouse.

God Bless you, Felicia.

in need of prayers please

Dear Yikes999,

I am not a churchgoing person nor a great one for praying and have probably sinned more then I care to recall but I do believe in God and his angels.

I am so very sorry for how your life is right now and how desperately awful you must be feeling but please don't ever give up on any level or think that nobody cares about you. I am a total stranger and I care - and if a total stranger can feel this way then who else can?

I will light a candle for you and pray that your life gets better, that your family issues get resolved and that you once more feel good about yourself and everything else too.

Lots of love and good wishes
Take care, Yikes999, and God bless you always

Battleground of my Soul

I just want to share something with you that the Lord gave me not so long ago, I hope that this Poem helps:

A war is waged from deep within
A desperate distinction of righteousness and sin
Working to fullfill my selfish desires
My spirit rises upward forged in the fire

How can I escape death?

I come humbly before GOD
seeking forgiveness for shame
Entering as one escaping the flame

I'm lead away blameless from all that I've done
Ushered into eternity where I will rise with the SON.....

As he leads justice to victory on the Battleground of my soul.

Please do not give up.....Your Father in heaven is right there and Jesus suffers with you every step of the way. Please remember that he loves you and has a perfect plan. Put your trust in Him and not in your surroundings or in other people, just in him. I know that it is alot harder that it sounds, but you shift the ownership of these burdens you are carrying that are so heavy on you to the one that can take them he will. He will help you get through this even if you can't see an end. Trust and beleive in Him. He loves you, he loves your son and your husband too.

I'm not saying that things are gonna go away and be all peachy, because they probably won't, but you have a hiding place and a dwelling to find comfort and strenth. Just call on his name and he will be there to help you and gird you up even the greatest pressures of life.

My prayers are with you and your loved ones, drug addiction ane alcoholism are tough wars but they can be won. I have seen many miracles on the front lines of these war zones, even in my own life. So please do not give up hope and do not through away your faith because things seem so bad today. Take things a step at a time --------------MOST OF ALL -------------stay on your knees and pray for your family, yourself for strength and knowledge -----your husband for healing from his drinking----------and your son for healing from his drug addiction. God is faithful and HEWILL DO IT. Pray like you have neverprayed before, you are battleing for the very souls of your loved ones.........God will send his angels concerning you to give you strength and uphold you. Have faith my dear friend and always look up for our redemption draws nigh.

in need of prayers please

I will pray for you. I highly recommend that you go to ALANON (you can contact AA and they will give you a list of meetings) THis is a fantastic twelve step program for friends or family members who has someone in their life who has a problem with alcohol and/or drugs. You will get the support you need and lots of love from the group.

Unfortunately, medications sometimes do provide us ways to cope, but they do not fix the problems in our lives. Finding the right medication for you, plus therapy will help. I prefer ALANON myself with the crisis you are now experiencing in your life. The meeting only take an hour. They usually meet in churches.

During an ALANON meeting, I feel God's presence and gain more indepth spirituality than I ever have had in church. I go to church at least once a week and grew up in a church.

I hope you give ALANON a try! Hugs! SCSusan

I pray for sweet peace to enter your home. Call upon the Lord and he will answer. May your son and husband be released from those terriable addictions. I will keep you in my prayers.
