difference between SAH and TAH

hi ladies... I just wanted to find out the difference between SAH and TAH

I've just learned this myself, I kept saying TAH, but I'm a SAH.

SAH = Supracervical Abdominal Hysterectomy, they remove the uterus, you keep your cervix.

TAH = Total Abdominal Hysterectomy, they remove both the uterus and your cervix.

Hi, that's correct and abdominal means an incision in your abdomin. It can either be a vertical or horizonal incision. Many dr's try to do the lower "bikini" incision now.
