sex after surger

hello i am 39 years old and had endometriosos really bad. i had a complete hysterectomy on april 16th 2004. i am still having extreme pain during intercourse i said something to my doctor and she put me on vagisfem i cant take any pills or patch yet she said until she knows all the endometriosis is gone. i still am having extreme pain i am in bed for a 1-2 days after intercourse and we are very careful is there anyone out there with the same problems.

I'm sorry but I have yet to engage in that activity. Just wanted to send a your way. Have you shared the latest with your doctor? 2 days in bed after intercourse is not a good sign.

Dear MSMarion, Though I haven't had the big S yet (have to wait a few more days), I did have a similar experience after having childbirth and the doctor couldn't understand it (could find no actual problem.) But he let me try an anti-inflammatory cream that I applied internally. It worked miracles. It turned out that the walls of my V were inflamed but it did not show up to his eye examination. I remember the internal exam was excruciating, and sex later was too. No one should have to suffer. Ask your doctor about this cream. Good luck and God bless.
