Swelly Belly Bands-Where did you get yours?

Ive been looking at some of the local stores(Target,Walmart) and I cant find one that looks comfortable. I know I can order one on here but I hoping to find one close by so I would have to wait for it to be shipped-any suggestions?

This is the only place to get the true swelly belly band. This one works like an ice pack also, those others don't! They ship really , really FAST!

Swelly Belly Bands-Where did you get yours?

Unfortunately for me I have been living in swelly belly hell.
Due to unexpected doctor bills and inability to work, I am completely swelly belly bandless. I wish I had the sense to ask my doc to order me one ahead of time!!
I am not even really sure how it helps. Does it kind of keep everything in place like a girdle?? Isn't the one that also works as an ice pack a little bulky to wear under clothes?
Just wondering. Seems this belly is gonna stick with me for quite awhile(from what I hear) and I am going to be heading out into the real world real soon.

swelly belly hell...

i hear you, trust me..even up past my navel is swollen!..i wish i had a extra band to send you..i had found a belly band at walgreens
(admin snip - our guidelines prohibit posting of commercial websites)

its not but 21 dollars, and i couldve afforded that ,if my dr. hadnt gotten me one..i wanted one i could wear whenever i wanted, and outside the house..and mines not bulky at all!..so for me,the one i have is best..it doesnt have a gel ice pack, but i wouldnt want that on all the time,anyways..and its like a girdle,yes..it holds things up and in,but its so comfy..i have a chubby tummy, and it helps keep my chub off my incision,too..it all depends on what kind of support you want and need, and how much money you can afford to spend..i personally could not afford the belly band price plus shipping..i did get a gel ice pack at walgreens, and it feels so good on my tummy..especially after being up and around..to me,cold feels better than hot..but once again,it all depends,on the person..*hugs*

not finding binders where I live

In another thread, a few gals mentioned a band made by Futura. I live in a semi-rural area and am having a very hard time finding one. A couple places have Futuras in a 9-inch size, but I am very short-waisted and have reason to believe that would be too big. I tried on my husband's rib band which is only 6 inches and when I sit, it hits the underside of my breasts! (Of course, the rib belt has a different purpose, so that may or may not mean anything for abdominal support.) One princess on another thread said she got a 7" band.

The problem? No one up here carries anything smaller than 9". I've looked on line and find even less information.

How big is the Swelly Belly Band? Are there different sizes in widths? How does it feel/wear when the cooling property is not used? Can it be worn comfortably under clothing, etc.?

As for OTC types, where can you get a 7" band? One of our local pharmacies sells an ab band for $60 and others are as cheap as $9. What is the difference? Anyone know? Didn't know there would be such a science to finding a belly band.
