I tried looking on the clinics web page for an email addy to write to but there wasnt any. As a Nursing Adminstrator, I would suggest a letter to the hospital board of directors or CEO stating just how pleased you were and why, with a copy sent to him as well. We hear SO many of the 'bad news'-it is good to hear the good stuff. If you want to take it to the next level, a letter to the editor of your local newspaper if you feel it would be appropriate.

Hi Dee,
Thanks so much. I couldn't think of who it was I should send it to. I also thought about sending a thank you card to him cause he is such a sweet and caring doctor, I've never had a doctor as nice as he is.

Hugs!

I also sent a letter directly to my DR, not only thanking her for the great care she gave me but to include information about this site. I told her about Hystersisters at my 2 weeks post op checkup and she was very interested in giving this info to her other patients.

I have thought about sending my DR a note also, I wasn't sure if that was appropriate. It's not like going to the hair dresser and giving a tip because she did a good job, so I wasn't sure what the proper thing to do was. Giving the DR information on this site is an excellent idea too. You are so right Dee, the only news you usually hear is the bad, so I'm sure our DR's would be glad to get a compliment for once instead of a complaint.
