Discharge

I was under the impression that after my TAH I would not have a discharge. Was I wrong? Since the age of 13 I've had to wear at least a panty liner every day and I thought I would be free of that. I am only 51/2 weeks post op and maybe the discharge I'm having is just related to the surgery. Help!

Discharge

I had no discharge from surgery until I hit 2 weeks postop. I am now 3 weeks and 2 days postop and still wearing a pad - with a much bigger one at night!
DR says it's seeping from the interior stitches on the top of the vagina.
I am patiently waiting for it to be OVER!!
If you are concerned, call your DR - they are used to many questions! Hang in there.

Discharge

Mine is very light, but during the day the more active I am the heavier it is. The next time I see the dr I will ask if it hasn't gone away by then. Thanks.

Discharge

I am 5 1/2 weeks and saw the Dr. yesterday. Still slight drainage. She examined me and said I still had stitches disolving and looked to be healing good. She said not to worry, it just takes more time to disolve for some people....And no sex for 2 more weeks...which did not make dh happy.
