Weight Gain or Weight Loss?

Ok ladies, please weigh in:

Did you lose weight or gain weight after your surgery?

Personally, I've lost 11 lbs since surgery (12 days ago), 5 lbs of fibroid and 6 lbs of fat.

Weight Gain or Weight Loss?

I know I have lost weight, but I have BAD swelly belly so I am hoping that goes away! LOL

I refuse to get on a scale because the doc's scale always reads 10 pounds more...will be at the doc on Tuesday for their horrible scale tale! LOL

I need to lose alot more to get down to where I was. Before I conceived my daughter (my second child) I was in a size 3 (never really measured weight at that point just went by how well my jeans fit). After I had her I didn't lose 1 pound! I been wearing size 16 since. Just got down to be comfortable in 14's and some 12's and now swelly belly has me back in the 16's ... If it ever goes away I know my 12's would be comfy...

Weight Gain or Weight Loss?

Well, when I was diagnosed with cancer May 25th, I started to stress eat and drink. I gained a few pounds, maybe 10. I am now 3.5 weeks post op and am now where I was the day I was diagnosed. However, I have swelly belly and I hope that will knock me down a few pounds. Also being home I am not being rigid on my diet, there is always something to snack on.

I purchased all dresses with no waist for the summer when I found out that I needed this surgery and have not even attempted to put my normal clothes on. I am tired of everyone telling me how great I look when I do not feel like I do.

Either, I have poor self image, very possible there, or I do look great, LOL.

I am cancer free now so that is really all that matters. I would like to drop 10 more pounds but I think I may have to work on that. LOL

Weight Gain or Weight Loss?

i lost weight right after my hysterectomy. but, months later as i felt great.........i added weight because i was hungry and i like to eat! if you don't watch it, you will feel better, eat more and wham! i don't think the hysterectomy causes weight gain....i just ate and ate and ate! i'm doing atkins now and have lost 15 pounds.

That is so my entire problem!!

I love food and I love to eat! LOL

I can't stick to diets either. I'll let nature take it's course, in the meantime I will try to lay off the candy bars LOL

Weight Gain or Weight Loss?

I have losted 9 lbs since my surgery on 7-6. Swelly belly is not a big problem with me, I guess. I can wear all my pre-op clothes and still have extra space.

Weight Gain or Weight Loss?

I actually gained six pounds when I came home from the hospital...(I couldn't figure that one out) A few days later I was back to my pre-op weight. Since then I have stayed the same. Sure wish I could drop about 5 more. Then I would be estatic...Oh yeah - and could loose the swelly belly.
