Just funny
About a month ago I read a post here and it still has me laughing...The princess wrote that a nurse came into her hospital room the day after surgery and asked if she had passed gas. The princess said "no, it wasnt me, but my husband just left, I'm so sorry...maybe it was him."
Still giggling

GREEAATTT!
This may bring a little smile! At my 2 week check-up, myDr. said "your incision looks real good" I replied "Thank-you!"!
In hind-sight...at this point he's to be thanked!! IT's actually HIS incision! I had very little to do with it!
Oh Well, my momma taught me to always say please and thank-you!!!
Smiling and giggles are the best medicine! I knew I was recovering when my sense of humour returned!!!

One more...
After my TAH, and in the hospital I started to panic after having taking Milk Of Magnesia to 'get me going'. I still had a catheder in, and needed help untangling it to get to the bathroom, FAST. I sent my sister to "HURRY, get somebody to help me to the bathroom..." She left my room and in a panic started down the hall to get help. She quickly returned with a nurse. I said "I'm sorry, I know you arent my usual nurse, but I have to go to the bathroom NOW and need your help " and she replied...
Not that I mind helping you, but not only am I not your usual nurse, but I'm NOT A NURSE, I'm here to visit my neighbor in the room next door to you. Reason for the lab coat is that I came right from work, where I work in the file department for a dentist......
I apologized, pressed the button to call a REAL nurse, and laughed for an hour
