some bleeding pain and incontinence

What could cause problems with this? I took a home test for UTI and it came out negative.

I have had cervical contractions regularly since the hyst, I guess I call them that because I used to have uterine contractions 3rd trimester before the placental abrutpion that led to the hyst. I found out that I had old endometriosis, the surgeon said he took it all out so there's nothing left and also the endometriosis had invaded the uterus according to the path report and there was a chocolate cyst. Okay, so I have had
regular slight bleeding kind of cyclically, no ovaries, taken during the emergent operation.

Recently, I have had very bright red spotting, not much. And, blood (pink) on the tissue. This is accompanied by pain after urination and during urination. Also, I have had sharp, stabbing pains in the groin/lower abdomen. But, it's not continuous. I also had severe chills Friday night with the pain. Then the next morning, felt quite fine, until I had more cervical contractions followed by major incontinence (wet myself). Dh was not amused.

In between episodes, I feel fine. So, I kind of was thinking, let it pass, except for the fact that if I'm incontinent, an episode like that would interfere majorly with my work. I could wear a pad.

I don't want to complain to a doctor about every little thing if I can just get over it, and when I had a uterus the biggest thing about infections was that you could become sterile. I don't have to worry about that any more. What could a gyn do, when there's nothing inside and you're testing negative with the UTI kit.

Anyone else have this happen to them?

Thanks.

I have had exactly the same thing happen to me. Started yesterday, the sharp stabbing pains for me are mostly as I finish. My DM thinks it may be a kidney problem? Wasnt as bad this morning, will see how it goes.

Cheers from

DM means Dear Mom?
I hope you don't have pre-existing kidney problems. I'm hoping for the best for you.

I'm thinking my probs aren't that serious fortunately. Thanks known2b and aussieloz for the messages though. Dh thought I should go to the dr, I don't know. I will call tomorrow. I think it's prob just some kind of infection, but I am puzzled it's negative on the UTI strips (OTC). I'm thinking since I'm a hyster sister why should I worry so much, I can't become sterile, which was my biggest concern pre-hyst. But, I will check with the doctor and will let you know what happens. Please keep in touch about your health, hope all goes well w/you too.

Thanks again.

Update Sisters: I did go to the gyn today and he thinks I have a bladder infection. He says pain in the lower abdomen and blood in the urine is often a sign of bladder infection. He gave me a prescription which I started taking tonight. Also, we did a urine culture so we'll see how it goes. I'm so relieved and happy it's probably nothing serious. Thanks for your concern and advice all.
