Just took my estrace and am burning up ... then cold

I took my estrace about 20 minutes ago and have that hot back of neck sticky feeling. Felt good before I took it. Too much? Or just body adjusting. I feel like I am only getting about 3 hours worth of estrogen. I don't think it is staying in my body long enough. Any suggestions or ideas? It has been a year and a half and I am still not right. Started on patch thought I was doing ok until I started freezing to death. Started estrace 2mg on Monday. I am taking 1/2 in the morning and 1/2 at night. Very anxious and panicky.

It sounds to me you might need some natural progesterone to help get you balanced. Taking estrogen alone can cause those same symptoms you described. Too much estrogen can cause low thyroid symptoms (cold) and it can cause anxiety.
