Surgery Date Set

i am one week into recovery and here are my thoughts

1 think positive
2 if you need to break down and cry do it it helps
3 if you are a control freak like i am let it go you can not be wonder woman
4 clean your house before you go in if you are too tired get someone to do it for you
5 get some good books to read, crossword puzzels, movies ect you will be having sooooo much rest time that you are bound to get bored
6 go grocery shopping and get some of you fav foods - i got very hungry for food with flavor once i got out of the hospital

these are just some of my thoughts at the moment if i think of more i will post good luck waiting is the worst just keep yourself busy

Thanks for your advice. I already know I am going to be bored stiff. Not the type of person to lay around. Already have it planned to clean the entire weekend before my surgery. I am sure my mother-in-law and sister-in-law will be over everyday. They are both good cooks and good cleaners.
