Encouragement

Today a friend sent a bouquet of flowers with an encouraging note to me. He knows that I am still struggling with depression about the cancer and not being able to have any children. I often wonder why God has allowed this to happen to me and just can't seem to find answers. My friend included a poem that made me feel a little better, and I wanted to share it with all of you. Each day is up and down, but I guess in my heart I know that God is still in control.

I asked for STRENGTH...God gave me difficulties to make me strong.

I asked for WISDOM...God gave me problems to solve.

I asked for PROSPERITY...God gave me brains & braun to work.

I asked for COURAGE...God gave me danger to overcome.

I asked for LOVE...God gave me opportunities and troubled people to help.

I RECEIVED NOTHING I WANTED...I RECEIVED EVERYTHING I NEEDED.
