Speaking of odor, discharge...

Now at 2 1/2 weeks post op I have not had anything but a slight discharge (pinkish) and it's only on the tissue and not enough for a pad or anything. I've heard so many of you say that there's been actually bleeding when the stitches start dissolving. Does this mean mine have not started dissolving yet or is it possible I won't bleed? Just curious.
Blessings,
Roxanne

Speaking of odor, discharge...

Hi Roxanne,

Some women just have a discharge, not necessarily blood, when their stitches are dissolving. That was my experience, too.

My very best to you...

I had absolutely no bleeding (and I am 8 wks. post op). Between the 2nd and 3rd week, sometimes when I would have a bowel movement and wipe (the front) I would see a tinge of blood on the toilet paper, but nothing that would even be on my underwear.

I had spotting for the first 3.5 weeks, and somewhere around 2 weeks, some rather smelly discharge that lasted a few days. Each of us is different, and if you are concerned, you should talk to your doctor.
