3 1/2 week post-op checkup, cleared for "normal activity"

Saw my surgeon today and she cleared me for "normal activity", sex, hiking, dancing, lifting, etc. The only thing she said "wait" to was when I asked about situps. She said wait two more weeks.

She said just continue to listen to my body and stop if it hurts or I get tired. I went for a four-mile walk a couple of days ago, around a nearby lake. I'm planning a two-mile hike in the mountains tomorrow. Today I went for a two-mile walk on a prairie trail that goes up and down a little. The only problem I could tell was that I wasn't wearing the right shoes and my feet got a little sore.

I'm a teacher so I don't have to go to work for another week. I'm planning on enjoying that week! But I will be good and listen to my body.
