My Niece in Florida - An Update

Hi Ladies,

Thanks for your prayers for my niece who lives in Port Charlotte with her mom, my brother's ex-wife. She finally was able to reach my brother this afternoon from the Port Charlotte police station.

The roof was blown off their home, and a shed where they had stored all their valuables for safety during the storm was destroyed. Basically, they lost everything they had. But at least she's safe, thank the Lord.

With the Category 4 storm that hit Port Charlotte, praise God
she is safe! No one wants to lose everything they own, but
things can be replaced. The most important thing is that she is
safe! I pray that the Lord comfort her and give her abundant
strength and courage to move forward and rebuild her life. Hurricane Charley was devasting to Florida.

Devasting? I meant devastating. The problem now is that we keep getting our typical daily rain storms. It's like more insult
to injury.

I am so glad that your family members are safe! I'm so sorry they lost everything in the storm and I will keep them in my thoughts and prayers as they begin to rebuild their lives.
