Premarin Doses

Hi Kathy,

I had a TAH/BSO on July 28, my doctor put me on Premarin 1.25, the day after surgery. He said its been around for a long time and he wanted to start me right away.

I didn't question it because I don't know zip about HRT's. So I just went along with it until I recover. I figured that would give me some time to do some research.

I am also curious about how much others take!

I was just switched to Premarin 1.25 from the Estraderm .1 patch for reasons that I can assume was because I was not absorbing enough estrogen on the patch. I have found that is helps to give any medication at least 4-6 weeks to really tell how it will work for you.
