very painful cervix, 5 months post op

I opted to keep my cervix and had an ab. hyster, with ovaries removed july 15. I just have never gotten completely well, or out of the pain zone. Now, my cervix is hurting like crazy- especially when I sit, tinkle, or God forbid, have sex, which is literally impossible because of the pain. Doc has me on Antibiotics now, to see if it might respond to that, but I don't have a lot of confidence in that. Has anyone had to go back and have their cervix removed? The pain just recently escalated- last Friday was actually a 3percocett day. Unbelievable. I really expected to be feeling pretty darn good by now! Fortunately, we've gotten the HRT thing leveled out- but to still have this much pain? I work really hard, as a business owner, and a metal smith (artist. I handle big sheets of metal, and doing the kind of work I do is physically demanding). Doc says it is not my bladder- definetly the cervix. I just don't understand. What could be making it hurt so much? Thank you- Marion.

Maryon-
I can't offer you any advice, just a big {{{hug}}}. I would assume that they can always go back in and remove the cervix, but hopefully the Dr. can get a handle on what is going on and you will not have to go that drastic a route.
Keep us posted.
