what's a bladder sling??

hi gals
I was just reading the many reponses to my " am I pathetic...after 4 1/2 months " and Gothair2dye wrote about having a bladder sling done... what is such an animal? and why hasn't my urologist suggested I get one ... or can I get one at Wal-Mart? ( just kidding)
Personally I have major pee dripping issues, and even more so since the surgery... will this fix it , is it painfull surgery/ recovery???/ Someone please give me the scoop on this

I'm sorry to hear your suffering these problems Have you discussed them with your Dr, or if so, the intensity in which they are affecting your quality of life? I would suggest scheduling an appt to discuss these concerns & ask about any options you may have available for some relief....
