upcoming surgery

Please keep me in your prayers! I'm scheduled for a hysterectomy on Wednesday and my stomach is in knots! I know I'm making the right decision and that the Lord will get me through this but I'm still very nervous!

I'm not going to tell you to try and relax. It doesn't work. Just know that all of your "sister" are praying for you and know that although you'll have many ups and downs in the following weeks, that you've made the right decision for you health. Don't forget to come and let us know how you've made out. And don't forget to listen to your body and rest.rest.rest...If you can have someone to help you the first 4-5 days home from the hospital it is very beneficial. I have extended surgery tomorrow, and am just as nervous as I was for my tah/bso on Feb.2 of this year. Sending prayers and hugs to you. And wish you a speedy recovery.

Hi Tina,

It's nice to see you again. I am really glad you decided to stop by the Prayer Board. My thoughts and prayers will be with you during your surgery day and throughout your recovery. Just give it a little time and in no time at all you will be hearing from more of the Hyster Sisters here soon.

You've already got half the battle won when you said "I know I'm making the right decision and that the Lord will get me through this." Means you know He'll never leave you nor forsake you. You are in my thoughts and prayers. I know the prayers of the sisters here helped me through my surgery March 20th. Don't hesitate to post your concerns when you get home. Love you to life. I asked my bible study to pray for peace for me with this surgery. I too knew this was the right decision, but I was scared. I can tell you the exact day and time that peace came over me. The fear and dread were gone and I knew then that I could do it. You can, too Pray for it and it will come. I am two weeks post-op and feeling much better through the grace of God. He will not let you down.

This is the scripture which got me through my surgery, thanks to my mother in law! She felt the strength from the same scripture when she had to go in for her hyst too! Isaiah Chapter 41 verse 13 "For I am the Lord your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you!"
