Where to apply testosterone cream
I'm going to start a 1.5% compounded testosterone cream and am wanting to know what are the best application sites. In the past I've applied my compounded creams on the abdomen, hips, or inner thighs. Also, is it better to apply in the AM or PM?

Where to apply testosterone cream
Hi
The sites to apply testosterone cream, according to the directions that come with mine, are: wrist, forearm, under bicep, upper shoulder, inner thigh, buttocks, behind knees and to the vulva/clitoral area.
My latest directions suggest that I use my testosterone in the morning. I've used it in the morning and I've used it at night with no bad effects. Some women find the testosterone makes it harder to sleep so morning is a better time for application in those cases. Whatever works for you is the best time.
My pharmacist recommends against using compounded creams on the abdomen because the absorption rate is the worst there.
I hope this helps you! Good luck with the testosterone cream!

Where to apply testosterone cream
Hi,
I just wanted to say that I used to apply my testosterone creme on my inner thighs. After several months my hair started growing very thick and dark.
I now make sure I rub it on a part of my body that does not have hair, such as my wrist, upper arms etc:

Where to apply testosterone cream

When I use my compounded testosterone cream I apply a pea size blob to my inner wrists. That area works for me. I also use it in the morning as I do tend to get a little boost when I use it. I've not tried using it at night, but have a feeling I probably wouldn't get much sleep.
You can experiment with the different areas that April Dawn mentions and find the place that works best for you. I use creams for my other hormones also and had to experiment with different places of application until I found the place that was optimal for me.
Good luck! Do let us know how you're doing and how the cream is working for you.

Where to apply testosterone cream
I use mine most of the time on the vulva area. It seems to give me that big umph better when I use it there. I use it at night after my shower, usually about 1 hr or so before bed. Usually make me hungry for some ummm....well u know...lol..sometime I will apply it to my wrist or inner thighs when I get a little raw down there. Good luck. You just have to play with different areas and time of the day. It seems not to effect me with sleep when I use it at night.
good luck

where to apply test
I'm up to 4.0, asked the Dr to up it again and he says its all in our heads. Oh well, what does he know? Other than that I really like the guy. Anyways, I apply it direct to the vulva as I need as much help as I can get. I do it 3-4 times a week at night. Some nights, I find I do NOT sleep as well. And thats even with taking a sleep prescription, 15mg of Dalmane along with my .9 Premarin. When I first started with it, they gave me an "open" script for up to a certain higher dose without having to call the Dr again. I went to grade school with his nurse and she's the one who helped me out with that one. Hope you have good luck with it! PS: I have NOT experienced any more hair down there than whats normal.
