Menstrual severe pain versus LSH healing twinges?

To all of you EXPERIENCED LSH sisters.My menstrual pain/contractions are so severe.I have a huge fibroid and a retroverted uterus thats sitting on my colon.The Naprosyn just takes the edge off.I just went off Prometrium to help keep me from having periods til my surgery date on Oct 1st.The Prometrium made me moody,exhausted,dizzy and I had alot of breakthrough bleeding.Well within 2 days of stopping this hormone I had the period from HELL! I was crying from the pain ,my husband was so sympathetic for me that he cried with me.So with this being said should my healing post op twinges be a piece of cake compared to the Labor I just endured?
