Scared to death to have sex!!

God bless my DH!! He has been so wonderful the past 6 1/2 weeks, I feel like I owe it to him to make love. But I am deathly scared that I will injure anything inside or start bleeding or anything. AWWWW!! I don't know what to do. I want to have sex and I am definetly aroused more easily now then before, but I am scared we may hurt something!! HELP!!

Scared to death to have sex!!

Just go easy. Help him out first so that he is not so excited and then he will be able to take it slow and easy with you. Maybe drink something to relax or what ever you need to help you take you mind off of the fear.

Scared to death to have sex!!

Our first time was scary too - I was so afraid of pressure on my belly. It was 6 1/2 weeks before we got the OK too, plus I'd had my incision open at 2 weeks when I decided I just had to have outercourse.

We decided (OK, I decided) I should be on top for the first time - that way, if there's any problems or if I had any issues, I could control things, and not have to get his attention, and make him get off me!

I was so happy afterwards - had a very nice orgasm, no pain. I cried in relief, I was so happy to have it not hurt, and actually have an orgasm again.

Take it slow, try it being on top so you can be in control. If it doesn't work out, then fine, but be prepared to take care of your DH so he's not too disappointed, and will want to try again when you feel like you're ready.

Good luck, and let us know how it goes!!

Been there done that

My advice is to go for it when your ready, just let him know the limits. After all it is a major surgery, just tell him to take it slowly and you will let him know what to do. I think he will be understanding and it will make it easier. Hope that helps, I dont have a "drive" anymore, so you are lucky.

Scared to death to have sex!!

I was cleared at 4 weeks and it went well then. In fact, I find it much better than before the operation when I was bloated and sore so much of the time. Hubby says it's better for him because he doesn't wonder if I'm suffering and not telling him. Just take it slow and easy.

Scared to death to have sex!!

Many of us are scared u r not alone! I was petrified till now. Still a little worried of course.

I believe for some women it takes takes abit of training to get back to, as good as, or better than before : )
