My colposcopy went fine

I do have to say that my colposcopy under anesthesia went fine. I tried to talk the doc into doing frozens on one of the samples but she wouldn't do it. Oh well I guess I am just going to have to wait. I hate waiting, I want to know now!!! I am going to give her office a call on friday and see if the results are in, but my luck they won't be.

I just want to know what I am up aganist. Is it a recurrence?? If so what are her plans??? I dont have another appt with her until October 4th. I am just afraid, I don't know what to do.

We are having a family reunion this weekend and with this lingering over my head, I do not think that it will be a very good one for me.

If it was a mass, I could handle it better I think at least you see it on x-ray or ct's, but with this it is just there microscopic. The doctor didn't even notice it when she did the pap back in June, (back when I did have the first recurrence in 2003 she did notice it) then the first of Aug I went in to, what I thought, have the biopsies in her office.

I am just in limbo and do not know what to do. I want to cry, scream, yell. I just do not know. I know that life is too short to worry about it, what ever will be will be. I just have no idea of what to look forward to.

I feel for all the girls that have had various cones, leeps, and still had problems with this incidious disease.

Never Waste a Good Panic...

Yep, the nerves kick in and the what if's and waiting stinks. Not panic time. I'm glad that the procedure went so well--and now may you have good news. Just start out with the idea that you'll enjoy the reunion and work from there--but I'm hoping by then you'll have good news and will be having a blast!

We are all being followed so closely if something is there it is caught right away. I am praying for good news for you and that you have a good weekend.

I know it is oh so hard but try one hour at a time, one day at a tim is kindda hard right now, this darn waiting gets us all a little jittery.

My colposcopy went fine

(((Jane)))

I'm so glad things well. The waiting just stinks! I had more than my share of it this summer, and, well, all I've learned from all that waiting is that it is MISERABLE to not know what's going on right away.

We'll be here with you while you wait, and we're 'ing for good news for you.
