Can a hormone specialist prescribe hrt?

By a hormone specialist, do you mean an endocronologist? I think most of them can. If you mean a compounding pharmacist, then no..but they work closely with your Dr to get you on the right track! My pharmacist basically runs things I guess..it's funny...my Dr usually prescribes exactly what she tells him! Good Luck! Laura

Hi Suzi As far as I know, any MD can prescribe HRT's. I've gotten scripts for HRT's from an ob/gyn, an internist and an oncologist, no problem.
