Take It Easy!

Hi everyone-
one quick message.

DON"T OVERDO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I felt good yesterday. I felt like I was quite capable of doing some laundry(no lifting) sweeping, dishes,picking up toys, and straightening up the living room.

I was not!

I am paying for it dearly today.

Remember- no matter how good you feel- you're not ready for your normal routine yet.

Take that broom and lock it away. Better yet, have someone else take the broom and lock it away for you. You are supposed to be resting.

The list of "light housework" posted elsewhere is very instructive. I don't think I'm going to lift anything heavier than a glass of water for at least two weeks..... (yeah, right)

Seriously, I'm glad you've posted this. It's a good reminder to the rest of us that no matter what we feel like, we are not healed in a week.
