Hello everyone well I am suppose to report at 11:45 am 2 hours prior to my surgery tomorrow. Will today ever end? So far it has felt like time has stopped ugh. Sorry to whine I am just a nervous nelly and I am not normally. Usually, tough as nails when it comes to surgery and all that. Stiff upper lip.. you know the routine but this one has me shaking (literally). For the record to the rest of the world I am BRAVEGIRL haha here I am scaredycat. Oh well just needed to let someone know I know you all won't tell ok well I can't possibly clean my house anymore I will wash the paint off the walls. I have cleaned both cars. I have organized every closet and drawer in the house trying to pass this time. All this nervous energy if only we could bottle it and use it another time eh? Keep me in your prayers please.

Shellenay

Know the feeling (s) day prior to surgery! The day never seems to end. Suggestions: go for a nice long walk, treat yourself to some chocolate (or whatever it is you really enjoy), take a nice long bath, watch a DVD. If you enjoy cooking make some dinners and freeze...you'll definitely appreciate having it. I luckily have a wonderful cousin who came up and stocked my freezer - chicken soup, spaghetti sauce, etc. Sure was appreciated. Dh appreciated it too!

And it does help to stay on this site. I've been home for 3 weeks now and would have been bored to tears; but, have spent couple three hours a day reading and enjoying the support on this site.

Best wishes!

Shellenay,

I understand your nervousness...but it won't be long now Hon....I pray you can get a good nights sleep tonight. I know it won't be easy. Pray yourself to sleep....works wonders! I admire the fact that you took your energy to cleaning, while I've looked around the house...that's what I did, looked around the house... anyways sweetie...tomorrow you'll be a princess and deserve your crown. hugs....

Aruba...I'm an ole past Massachusetts gal myself...Pepperell...ever heard of it?

Luv & hugs,

Mich

Yes Pepperell. I'm in North Attleboro (near Gillette Stadium - go Patriots).

How long in El Paso? I've only been to San Antonio!

Aruba, Oh yes, North Attleboro...I've been in El paso going on 25 years now...but I grew up in Mass... born in Lowell, lived in Northboro, then Marlboro (we spelt it that way back then), then in Pepperell till we moved out here...lovely place to live...loved the beaches, disliked the snow.

Hugs,

Mich

Mich, I just noticed that tomorrow is your surgery date!! You seem very calm. P.S. Snow is driving me a bit crazy...maybe I'll come and visit

Shellenay - Mich and I got a little side tracked but my thoughts are with both of you!!!

Will look forward to seeing you back on line in just a few days.

Peace
