Period cramps??

Yep, that's exactly what it feels like - I'm about to start a period! I'm close to 5 weeks PO and for the past 2 days, I've had all my usual symptoms. Lower back ache, dull heavy ache in abdomen and even that pressure lower down that says Aunt Flo is moving in. I've even been checking whenever I go to the washroom!What gives here? Phantom pains? This time would also be close to my due date. Anyone have an idea?

As long as you kept an ovary (and it is functioning) you will still have the same cyclic symptoms that you did pre op....sans the bleeding. Sorry if that wasn't what you wanted to hear.

I am 3 and 1/2 weeks post op and started feeling cramping below my incision last night and all day today along with nausea. I called my Dr. to see if it was normal and she told me to come in tomorrow morning so she could check me out! She is the one who saw me at two weeks post-op and said I didn't need to come back, now I am worried that I may have overdone it somehow. I sure hope not.... I don't have ovaries anymore either.
