Home from Emergency hyster

Hi my beautiful sisters,

Thank you all for being here and all the love and support you give,(gosh I'm tearing up) I don't know how I would have coped without you. I was going to schedule my hyster for the end of October, this was on Monday 9/14 that I had decided this, but on 9/15 I began to bleed terribly and by 3:00pm I met my doctor at the emergency room. I had lost 3 units of blood in 24 hours due to one of the fibroids growing into my uterus. They gave me a blood transfusion throughout the night of 2 units and got me into surgery at 7:30 AM. I had them take the cervix (will update later) and they left my ovaries. Due to the size of the fibroids and uterus they did the c-section. I came home today and besides weakness and being sore I feel good. I am glad it is over and truly the waiting is the worst part. I had a great doctor and a wonderful team of nurses looking out for my every need. God bless you all!!

I am so glad to hear that you are on the other side of the surgery-now you don't even have to worry about scheduling it-It is OVER!

I am very sorry to hear that you had to have such an emergency though-that has got to be scary.
Now don't forget to post your story on the Princess tell their stories when you are feeling up to it.
