a silly question?

Hi This might seem like a very silly question , I had TAH 9/10/04 and seem to be going ok my prob is that my legs and abdomen are covered with sticky residue from numerous drains catheter and other sticky bandages that I had. Does anyone have suggestion for removing with as little pain as possible as I've tried to pick off and really "hurts"
Thanks to everyone for this site as it seems to answer all my questions
Best wishes to all

removing adhesive

Well, you could call the pharmacy and ask them what they recommend.

I use rubbing alcohol to get off the residue from my HRT patch, but that might hurt if you got it on some places.

May be some other 's will have another idea.

I read somewhere that peanut butter will remove gum from hair-at least it would be fun to try!

I had the same problem and tried EVERYTHING! The one thing that was quick and painless was mineral oil or baby oil with a cotton ball. If you have a home waxing kit, you can use the oil that comes with that for removing excess wax.

Isn't it a great feeling to get rid of that sticky goo? I'm glad the nail polish remover worked for you.
