New to testosterone cream...

Hey,
I'm 30 and had a hysterectomy with preserved ovaries, 6 months of chemotherapy and 6 weeks of radiation on March of this year due to cervical cancer. During that time, my db left me (so I have psychological sorrow blocking sex drive as well as lack of test/estrogen from the radiation blasted ovaries). I have just started out a testosterone cream 1 mg (or 1%), placing a pea sized amount on my clitoris (blush) and a pea sized amount on my inner thigh once a day for three days. I am also on 1.5 mg of premarin. I don't seem to notice much of a difference. How long does it take the cream to work? If you spread it over the inside of your vagina will it help intensify/extend orgasm beyond the clitoris. I've been very frustrated and disappointed with myself, and am not really new to the site. You just seemed to have had good luck with the cream.
Take care,
Palmyra

New to testosterone cream...

Hi Palmyra My DR told me to expect it to take 2 to 3 weeks to feel a difference in libido. It took exactly 13 days and was very dramatic ; so then I knew to cut back on how frequently I was using it (1% cream, pea sized blob on the vulva once nightly).

You can spread it around the general area there; I'm not sure there is much benefit to applying it internally though

Hope this helps!
s,
-Linda

Thanks a million

In "The Hormone of Desire" it doesn't talk much about how long certain forms of HRT take to kick in and I haven't checked out any other sources on testosterone.
