Breast Reduction Surgery for Multible Fibroid Breast Cysts...has anyone had this?

Hi Everyone I had a TVH almost 9 months ago. I just had my yearly check up last week with my Ob/Gyn and everything is great! It's now time to move on to yet another health issue of mine. I have multible fibroid breast cysts. I have had them for years. I have one fibroid breast cyst that has been growing larger then the others since 2002. It is almost the size of a golf ball. My Dr. suggested that I have it completely removed. I have a family history of breast cancer...so I totally agree with my Dr. about complete removal. I have been considering breast reduction. If they have to take tissue then why not take all the cysts as well. I'am currently wearing a 36-DD bra so being reduced to a B or C cup would make me extremely happy. Has anyone had breast reduction surgery and if so...was it very painful, how long was your recovery, was there any scarring, etc...any and all answears to my question would be greatly appreciated.

I have never had breast reduction, but I do wish you well with yours. I am sure that others might come on that have had it done or at least had brest surgery.

I had a friend of mine that had a breast reduction as well as a tummy tuck, so I guess with the tummy tuck it took her about 6 weeks before she returned to work. We worked in surgery at the time and it entailed a lot of lifting.

I am sorry that all I can offer you is S

God Bless
