Estrace cream and PT

Hi all - I went for my 3 month check up yesterday. My DR gave me a prescription for Estrace cream. I have looked on here for some info about this - but am having a hard time finding it. DR also said I need to go for some Physical Therapy for the muscles around my incision. I am having alot of pulling sensations in the left side of my incision. DR was rubbing around on the spot where it's bothering me - and now I'm in pain! GRRRRR....
I asked if the PT was massage and got the reply "deep tissue massage" -- well after yesterdays visit I'm not so sure I want someone doing DEEP massage on that area!
I read a post at one point on here about PT -- can someone give me the lowdown on that? And the cream?

thanks!

Estrace cream and PT

HI Brenda

Well I'm not completely sure but I believe estrace in a cream form is used as a vaginal cream for vaginal dryness. Estrace does come in a pill form also and that is taken orally.

Do you know if this is a compounded estrogen cream to rub on the skin??

Sorry to not be of much help, but you can do a search at the top left of the message board on estrace cream and it will show you all the posts that have talked about it in the past.

Maybe someone else will come along with a definent answer for you.
