hey ladies..alright give me your opinion...in the last 2 years i have had 2 laps .for ovarian cycts and adhesions, cervical polyps. in april 2004 had another lap..ovarian cycts, and unlarged uterus and thickened uterine wall............lower pelvic pain and back pain...all month. dr. just had me do a panaramic hysteropy and endo biopsy 2 wks. ago....ouch!! now once again i have ovarian cysts BACK and my uterus is still enlarged.so still have back pain and pelvic pain...........doc says too young for hysterectomy --i am 32
so whatcha think ladies??? talk to dr AGAIN or 2nd opinion

Dear sweet sister,

Sounds like you have a lot of reasons for seeking out a second opinion to me, if th first Dr. isn't willing to hear your cries for help.

Luv & Blessings,

Mich

I would get a 2nd opinion if you do not trust your dr's opinion.
You need to do what is best for you.

I agree on the second opinion.
I'm 36 and had a hysterectomy 3 months ago.
my health was more of an issue than my age.
You have to look at your quality of life and how it
will progress get better or worse.
Is surgery inevitable?
My surgery was rushed due to suspicion of cancer, but I lived with fibroids for a while, now they are gone.
my surgery was inevitable, now I can get on with a healthy life!
good luck

i like your way of thinking girl..you nailed it right the first time around...my health is more important than my age should be...I AGREE!!! and i think on that note i am phoning my doctor today...thanks so much for all the input......

another thing about age, I had a great recovery because of it.
My friends & coworkers keep forgetting I had surgery 3 months ago because I bounced back so quickly!
I'm 36 a few yrs older than you, but never had children and was in good health except for fibroids before surgery.
I don't feel like I had surgery at all except for my scar
which I'm hoping will fade a bit!
I hope I don't come off as pro hysterectomy, but sometimes you have to weigh the issues for your life's sake.
It's different for everyone, I definitely suggest to do as much research as you can so you are prepared.
