Sexual Dysfunction

Here I am again...with more problems...will live ever be 'normal'???

I'm about 3 1/2 mos. post-op and for the last 2 weeks I have had no sex drive, although we do it about 3 times a week anyway. (supposed to use it often because of the internal radiation) Also, I haven't been able to achieve orgasm or if I do it takes a very long, long time. It feels very insensitive down there now. Just wondering if it is a side effect of the black cohosh.

Great time for this to be happening....we leave on our cruise tomorrow.

Sexual Dysfunction

I would call your doctor and ask if you can get a compounded testosterone cream. I recently started using it (3% - a pea size amount rubbed on the clitoris daily (or as needed)) and it works great. It is not ingested so you do not have all the normal side effects of regular testosterone. I has a local affect to the clitoris - enhancing the sensitivity. It works almost instantly (within a few applications) and gets better within a few weeks.

Hope your cruise great! Relax and enjoy and try not to get caught up in 'how different' things are now. I have found that the more I stress about how long it takes, or how different it is - the more frustrating it is. Now is your time to try new things - forget the things that worked in the past.

Good luck
