Wow, it really is happening. I am soooo scared but looking forward to being on the other side of this. Looking forward to 2005 and a new uterus free liberated me!!! Thanks to all who answered questions and posted all the good advice. Keep on praying for us LIW I can really feel the power of prayer.

Isn't this site wonderful? I, too, felt the power of prayer when I had my surgery in Jan. Just knowing so many people were lifting me up in prayer gave me such calm and comfort.

Thank you all for you help and insight. I am very happy to have found this site and I plan on telling my Dr. about it when I see him on Monday. He had no books or anything for me to read up on the procedure. I found this site and it has helped answer my questions and what to expect and even what to pack and have at home.
I hope after my surgery I can help someone else with my experiences. Thank you all for your kindness, hugs and prayers.

I have to tell you all... this site is wonderful! I am so happy to have found it, and all the support it has given me. I also feel good that occasionally I have been able to lend support to others through these boards!

Thank you SuzyQ23! Your thoughts and prayers are very encouraging to me. I have been more nervous as the date gets closer. My pastor's wife brought over a cassarole for our dinner on my last day of work. She thought I was looking very tired and wanted me to not have to worry about making a meal. But more importantly she had several scriptures on fear. I trust in the Lord and was blessed with a good nights sleep both Friday and last night. So I think I'm totally prepared to get this over with and begin recovery. I too will be praying for all you sisters on Tuesday!
