Finally Scheduled!

I went to the doc yesterday. She sched. a tvh for Nov. 10. Now it seems more real. Pre op is for Nov. 5. What to they do at a pre op app? It seems that I have so much to do now. Anyone have a tvh and what was your experiance like? Thanks for the support guys!

I am having TVH on 11-9 and I am having preop on 11-8 was also wondering the same thing....

Just had mine on Oct 8 with pre-op on Oct 5. They just take blood work, urine sample and ask you your medical history. It is also a time to do all the admissions paper work with the hospital. Usually a few days before surgery a hospital nurse will confirm everything by phone. Since yours is so close together it should go smoothly. I really enjoyed having a private room. If you can afford one I would recommend it. Sometimes a woman needs her privacy. I looked at it as a Day Spa with drugs. Good Luck!! They say we will feel better soon.

I am a little nervous because I go for my consultation tomorrow morning to find out when my surgery will be. I am trying to make a list of everything I want to ask the doctor when I go in. To keep or not to keep ovaries, cervix...what kind of incision..things like that...
