Getting back to normal

Hi All,

I'm going on 4 weeks post-op. I'm still having to take laxatives and stool softeners and was wondering when those of you further along than 4 weeks post-op were able to get back to normal. It still hurts a little, but is mostly just uncomfortable.

I noticed a remarkable difference in how I felt at about 5 weeks post op. I am 9 months post op now and sometimes still have tiny twinges and some swelly belly if I try to overdo it in the exercise department.

Each day seems to bring more healing. Rest as much as you can right now. You will feel a lot better soon. S~
