Vitamin B12 and HRT - No Ovaries - Yes HRT - Surgical Menopause

Hysterectomy: June 25th, 2003

Surgery Type: TAH

Ovaries: Removed both

Vitamin B12 and HRT

My doctor prescribes a vitamin B12 injection every month for me to assist with the metabolising of my HRT (Estrofem). He says this will also stop me from getting tender breasts etc.

Has anybody else's doctor prescribed this? Does anyone else know about this?

I take b-12 and e- orally. daily 200mgs/IU's of each.
