I passed over!

Hello to all the post-op punctured princesses, Now I know what you are referring to. Yes, we certainly are punctured and need to be treated as princesses. Thank you for all the support. My surgery was uneventful and I felt informed and at peace about my decisions. I will now be reading this side of the board to help me in the weeks that follow. We are all starting the new year with a "new me" ""

Blessings on all of us as we heal.

I passed over!

Dang, Bernie - I thought you might be speaking from the great beyond. Where my kinfolk come from in TN, "passed over" is the same as "passed on" or "passed away". Glad to hear you are still with us, and doing well.

Congrats on the optimistic start to the New Year - I know just how you feel.

I passed over!

Welcome back Bernie. Like Linda, I didn't know if you had crossed over from the castle or were writing from "the other side". Glad you meant you had joined the ranks of the punctured 's and are still with us, but on the post-op board.

Looking forward to hearing your story.

I passed over!

Thank GOODNESS! I was worried tha maybe you "passed over" to the other side during surgery and they had to bring you back! PHEW!

I feel like a new woman, too! Have a happy, healthy recovery!

Don't make me laugh!

You wonderful punctured princesses have me laughing and hurting at the same time. Thank you for that wonderful gift of laughter - and truly, I did feel better the very next day after surgery. The twisting/full feeling was gone - no more cramping!

don't forget the recovery rules

Now that you are one of us, there are rules to be followed. The most important is to rest, rest and rest some more. Make sure that you drink plenty of water and get up and walk if the gas pains happen to come visit your house. I hope that you have an uneventful and restful healing experience.

Pamela aka erratika

Oh! Forgot the most important one of all! NO VACUUMING!!!!! just ignore the mess.

I passed over!

Please, Please, keep sending me the reminders to take it easy! I felt so good today and now at midnight I know I am on a hormone high with tons of energy so I am writing my New Years letter to all we received Christmas cards from! I feel great and the floor is full of cat and dog fur and I am the #1 floor sweeper. HELP, tie me up before I rip these stitches!

I passed over!

Hi Bernie,
I thought you were going to say you had a near-death experience on the operating table So glad you are home. Now be an and put down that floor sweeper!! The pillow police have been alerted and have taken up post right outside your bedroom door. You're going to be a "tuffie" and I will give you 3 guesses how I know that Rest, rest, rest, rest, rest with your feet UP. You don't want to compromise the healing process and end up with subsequent surgeries over hairballs
