20 Staples Removed

Hello Ladies:
I had the staples removed on 11/8/04 and that wasn't bad. The Doc said the incision looked great and just continue to dry it after a bath or shower and NOT to put anything on until after my 6 week checkup. Doc suggested using a blow dryer to thoroughly dry the area but NO ointments. The only thing I have noticed is that my back aches more frequently when I'm up and about so I just sit down and relax. I am very pleased with the outcome and wish all of you a wonderful recovery.

20 Staples Removed

Hi Lorna
I am glad to hear all is well with you. I know the staples get uncomfortable after a while. I had part of them out first day home due to a hematoma. The rest was removed 4 days later. They were beginning to pinch.
I hope your recovery continues to go well for you. Just remember to get all of the rest you can. It helps your insides to heal too.
take care
Peggy

20 staples removed

Hi Peggy,
Thanks for the advice...I just get so bored...I'm tired of channel surfing. I am anemic too due to the heavy bleeding but no more bleeding. My doc suggested Ferrous Sulfate 325mg of iron for the anemia. You are truly blessed...we all are to have made it through.
Take care,
Lorna
