Burning pains near incision 9 mths post op

hiya

I haven't been here for a while, had almost forgotten that I'd had a hysterectomy until a few days ago when I had a big cough and it felt like something was burning and tearing at the left end of my scar. Since then it's a milder version of the same pain when I move the wrong way or just lie down in bed flat.

Is this normal or should I be getting it checked out ?

I am sorry that you are experiencing any type of pain this far from surgery.
I would call the doc and get it checked out. You can't be too careful.
Please let us know what the doc said and how you are doing.
